More than ever, parents are directly involved with and play an integral role in their child’s education. At TEN we firmly believe that every child should have access to the high quality education they deserve, no matter the circumstances. As parents we know you believe this too, and we are committed to working in partnership to ensure that your child hits all learning targets this school year.
The best way to accomplish this is to know exactly what those targets are, and make a plan to check in on progress throughout the school year to see that they are on track.
The academic year holds 180 days of instruction: that’s 180 opportunities for your child to make the necessary progress to get to the next grade level. We have created this document to show parents of students in grades K-12 what that process should look like, broken down by year.
Within each grade level, you will find a guide in the form of “I Can” statements including:
